


How much have you achieved in the past 12 months?
What were the positives, perhaps new realisations on how you want to live and work in future?
What did you learn, and how did you deal with any setbacks you faced?
And what would you deal with differently, in retrospect?
It can be difficult to remember what we did last week, let alone being able to track a year of activity.
You may need to refer back to your calendar or diary to remember what you’ve done in the past 12 months, and scan through emails, social media accounts and photographs for information on how you spent your time.
You might be quite amazed at how far you have come in the space of a year. Because we don’t take the time to stop and take stock, it can sometimes feel like we’re walking through treacle — putting in a lot of effort, but not really getting anywhere.

These 10 questions, extracted from my Career Review programme will help you take stock of the past 12 months, and show how far you have progressed in the key areas of your life:
As you work through the questions, you will probably have a sense of things that you still have to complete, and also some ideas of what you’d like to start, or work on in the next 12 months.
Our lives are always work in progress and it’s important we enjoy the day to day tasks and activities that lead to the accomplishment of our goals, as much as we do when we celebrate reaching the ultimate goal.
